Dr. Andrew Kurtzman was born in Texas. After obtaining a BS in Biomedical Sciences at Texas A&M University in 2013, they completed veterinary school in 2021 at Texas A&M. Dr. Kurtzman went through a rotating small animal internship in surgery and medicine and a specialty medical oncology internship at Blue Pearl Sandy Springs in Georgia, followed by a specialty oncology internship at Angell Animal Medical Center in Massachusetts, followed by a specialty Radiation Oncology internship at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
Dr. Kurtzman enjoys spending time with their wife and two dogs, coffee, resin casting, candle making, and Magic: The Gathering. From a medical perspective, Dr. Kurtzman most enjoys integrated multimodal therapeutics within veterinary cancer management of cats and dogs, chronic pain control, and hospice care.
