Dr. Nicholas Rancilio graduated from Michigan State University in 2010 with his DVM. He completed a small animal rotating internship at Washington State University in 2011 and a residency in Veterinary Radiation Oncology in 2014 at Purdue University.

Dr. Rancilio is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Radiology, Specialty of Radiation Oncology. He has been a faculty member at veterinary schools across the country including Purdue University and Auburn University and is the author of 29 peer reviewed scientific publications (which can be accessed here).

He is an expert in stereotactic radiotherapy and is excited to help pets with cancer in the metroplex using VSNT’s state of the art Elekta VersaHD radiation machine (“Betty”) which is capable of both high precision stereotactic treatments and more traditional fractionated radiotherapy.

Dr. Rancilio shares his home with his wife Keiko and two red miniature poodles Moja Moja and Mickey. He enjoys traveling to Disney World and spending time reading books in his spare time; especially science fiction.
