Common Signs of Cancer in Pets
- Lumps and bumps on their body
- Sores that don’t heal
- Bleeding or discharge from any opening in the body
- Persistent bad breath or offensive odors
- Unexpected weight loss
- Change in eating and/or bowel habits
- Labored breathing
- Persistent limping
- Difficulty breathing, urinating, or defecating
- Lethargy/unwilling to exercise
- Change in interaction with the family/ Hiding
- Vomiting or diarrhea
- Bleeding from the nose or mouth
- Seizures
Do not wait-early detection is critical! Diagnosis of cancer is NOT a death sentence. Many types of cancer can be treated if diagnosed early.
